Emily Ratajkowski

Emily O'Hara Ratajkowski born June 7th 1991 is an American model and actress. Born in London to American parents She was raised in San Diego. She first was featured on the cover of the March 2012 issue sexually-themed treats!. From there she was able to appear in two music videos: Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” (number-one track in 2013 across a variety of countries) as well as Maroon 5’s “Love Somebody”. Ratajkowski appeared in both the 2014 and 2015 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues. In 2015 she made her runway modeling debut alongside Marc Jacobs in New York Fashion Week. She has since walked the Paris Fashion Week runway for Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace runways. Ratajkowski was the lead in a Buick Super Bowl commercial (2016). Since then she has served as the brand's spokesperson such as DKNY. Kerastase. Paco Rabanne. Ratajkowski started her acting career in San Diego as a young child. In 2009, Ratajkowski became a regular on Nickelodeon’s iCarly (2009-2010). Her first feature film appearance was in 2014 as Ben Affleck's mistress in Gone Girl. She also appeared in the films Entourage (2015). We Are Your Friends (2015). I Feel Pretty 2018 and Welcome Home (2018). Her mini-series The Spoils Before Dying (2015) as well as the anthology series Easy (2016). Ratajkowski has served as a spokesperson and advocate for Planned Parenthood's women's rights. Her views on sexual expression have received criticism and support from males and females. She has also been self-described as feminist. Exposure to the nude female in art and photography during her formative period, which included the work of her father, as well as the photography of Helmut Newton and Herb Ritts and the preparation of Ratajkowski for work that was purely naked. She stated that "We have this culture that men are watching pornographic films, but then they are offended by classic nude photographs or portraits." She was strongly influenced by Third-wave Feminism and works like The Beauty Myth and Promiscuities, Naomi Wolf.
