Jessica Alba
Jessica Marie Alba is an American actor and
businesswoman. At 13 years old, she began appearing in movies and television.
She was first seen in Camp Nowhere (1994) and The Secret World of Alex Mack
(1994). However her fame began at 19 when she became the lead actress of Dark
Angel (2000-2002), where she was nominated for an award called a Golden Globe.
Honey (2003) was Honey's debut film. She soon became an established Hollywood
actress and has appeared in numerous box office hits in films which include Fantastic
Four (2005). Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Good Luck Chuck
(2007). The Eye (2008). Valentine's Day (2010). Little Fockers (2010).
Mechanic: Resurrection (2016). 9] She has been a frequent collaborator of
director Robert Rodriguez, having starred in Sin City (2005), Machete (2010),
Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011), Machete Kills (2013), and Sin City:
A Dame to Kill For (2014). Alba starred as L.A. Finest in Spectrum's
action-packed series. Alba was a co-founder of The Honest Company in 2011, a
company that sells household, personal baby, and household products. Magazines
like Men's Health and Vanity Fair have also included Alba in their lists.
Jessica Marie Alba was born to Mark David Alba and Catherine Louisa Jensen in Pomona,
California on April 28th, 1981. Her maternal grandparents are both Mexican
immigrants, are of Danish, Welsh German, English, and French descent. Joshua is
her younger sibling. Gustavo Arellano is her third cousin. Her father's Air
Force career took the family to Biloxi, Mississippi, and Del Rio, Texas, before
settling back in Claremont, California, when she was nine years old. Alba
described her family as "very conservative" - a traditional Catholic,
Latin American, Catholic family. She also describes herself as liberal. When
she was five, she said she was feminist.
