Abraham Benjamin de Villiers

 Abraham Benjamin de Villiers, born 17 February 1984 is an ex-professional South African cricketer. De Villiers was named as the ICC ODI Player of the Year three times during his 15-year international career and was one of the five Wisden cricketers of the decade at the end of 2019.AB de Villiers began his international career as a wicket-keeper-batsman, but he has played most often solely as a batsman. De Villiers played in several places within the batting order but he was most often in the middle-order. De Villiers was thought of as one of the most creative and destructive batsmen of the current age. In 2004 he made his debut in international cricket against England. He also made his debut in the One Day International (ODI) in 2005. In 2006, he made his international debut in Twenty20 International cricket. He has scored more than 8,000 runs in Test cricket and ODI cricket. He is also among the few players with a batting average above fifty across both formats. He is a ferocious player of limited overs cricket. He holds the record for the most speedy ODI century in only 31 balls. De Villiers captained South Africa at all three formats. He was eventually forced to step down as captain of the Test team due to a series injury.
