Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30 1991) is often referred to as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper from the United States. He is also a songwriter, singer as well as a record producer and songwriter. The stage name he uses is a mixture of the name of a favorite uncle as well as the name of Kid Cudi (whose real names are Scott Mescudi and Scott Mescudi) and it is his first major-label deal with Epic Records. Scott also signed a contract to publish with Kanye's GOOD Music. Scott signed a record agreement with Epic Records and T.I. He signed a contract for joint-recording with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released as a self-release. The mixtape was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015), his first studio album, featured the hit single "Antidote". His follow-up album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also produced his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first artist to reach number one on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
